Edgar C. Aguilar, O.D.
Dr. Aguilar was born and raised in the Imperial Valley. He earned a bachelors degree in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavioral Sciences from U.C. Davis. Dr. Aguilar went on to the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA where he graduated with honors. Dr. Aguilar has also been on mission trips to Nicaragua and Tijuana. Dr. Aguilar is an expert in his field when it comes to ocular disease, hard-to-fit contact lenses, laser vision correction and pediatrics. He is also an affiliate doctor of the San Diego Chargers and San Diego Padres eye care team, on the advisory board of Advanced Ophthalmology Institute and the Burn Institute, an active member of Rotary, the immediate past-president of the optometric society of the Imperial Valley and a huge Boston Red Sox Fan.
